I recently airbrushed a custom paint job on a goalie mask for the University of Delaware goalie. The mask features the Fighting Blue Hen and “D” logos. On the stunning white pearl base color, I added subtle images of the Blue Hen and “UD” graphics to the background. I gave a tribal feel to the blue and yellow stripes running down the center of the mask, with the the goalie’s number “1” on the chin. The back plate features an American and Italian flag configured in a tribal design, and a cow, which is a personal design element for the goalie. The back plate has the “UD” logo ghosted on the white pearl base color. Ghosted images show up and disappears when light strikes it at certain angles.
